Managing Events on a Shoestring Budget
I am very frugal! I am a cautious and very careful spender. This year, I hosted two party events... but on a very careful shoestring budget. I had a lot of fun and success with both events. Here is how I handled them.
My Birthday Event
#1- Shopping done at Hobo in Waukegan, Illinois. Low cost store with Waukegan taxes being lower than Chicago. I purchased enough party items to last for two events.#2- Food items were purchased at Walmart, in Waukegan and Hammond, Indiana. Fresh produce purchased at FairPlay Foods. Prices cannot be beat!!
#3- Main entree was pizza from my favorite Damenzo's! Good amount of sausage and nice sized pizza.
Janine's Birthday Event
#1- Less than $5 spent on party supplies as I still had items left over from my Hobo purchases.#2-Food items from Walmart and/or FairPlay Foods.
Both events were fantastic with a wonderful quality on carried out on a shoestring budget. Here's a peek....
